Well, I’m pretty horrified about how various things are going in our country. I have nothing interesting to say about it (as usual I recommend eliminating the filibuster so that we can pass legislation with a majority of votes instead of a special super secret EXTRA majority that isn’t mentioned anywhere in our founding documents). I’d just like to think at some point we’ll decide we’re tired of it and take meaningful action to save lives - even if some people have to risk their jobs to do so. We’ll see.

I acknowledge this is very silly but for some reason David Attenborough agreed to narrate a fake nature documentary about dinosaurs. It’s on Apple TV+ and five minutes into the first episode I was entranced. In the linked story about the show the producers claim it’s all extremely accurate but in my humble opinion they’re just making all of this stuff up. Which is fine.
