Hey. How's it going? I put a lot of work into the list this week. Hope you enjoy it, or at least find it infuriating! Let's begin.
Item 1: a link
The epic story behind the Ferrari and Lamborghini rivalry
The year is 1963. Ferruccio Lamborghini, a successful tractor manufacturer, is unhappy with his Ferrari.
Item 2: a list
The 100 highest grossing films adjusted for inflation (through 2019 because that’s when the Wikipedia list was compiled as of the day I started this ranking*), ranked:
* All of the information on the Wikipedia page has changed since I started the list and now there doesn't seem to be a list of the top 100 there at all. But I’m not going back and making any changes, except that I did add Spider-Man: No Way Home and Top Gun: Maverick (the top grossing films from 2021 and 2022, assuming nothing comes along to best Top Gun). Let’s just say this is the list of 102 out of the 110 or so top-grossing films, adjusted for inflation, and agree that all the other information in the list is iffy at best (except for my ranking, which is canon).
Films I have never seen are in bold.
Item 3: a media recommendation
Item 4: a photograph
See ya!
Thanks for reading. Have a wonderful weekend.
